Memorial Day is a statutory holiday in the United States commemorating those who have died while serving in the United States armed forces.

Many people visit cemeteries to honour and grieve our dead heroes, placing flags or flowers on their graves.

It is a day to memorialise all those who gave their lives while serving in the United States Armed Forces. A true American citizen always wonders what he can do to help his country. For the sake of his country’s security, he sacrifices his happiness and stays away from his own family. This Day is observed with this noble thought.

Memorial Day was observed on the final Monday of May to remember the men and women who died while serving in the United States military.
